High profile personalities in Ghana have praised the services of the country’s new domestic airline, PassionAir.
Having flown with the airlines’ Q400 aircraft, which is in a 78-seat configuration on various domestic routes, they have lauded the airline for its on-time departures and on-board services.
Former President, John Dramani Mahama; the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Iain Walker; the Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, Mrs Heather Cameron; the Director-General of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Ing. Simon Allotey; and the Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Mr John D. Attafuah have all flown on the airline and praised their services.

The start of commercial operations by PassionAir has led to competitive pricing and helped to cater for the huge demand that had to be handled by only one domestic airline, AWA.
Idi Donald Maswaure, Chief Operating Officer of Passion Air, told B&FT shortly after the airline took delivery of its first aircraft that the airline will pass on the savings made from using the economically efficient Dash 8 Q400 to consumers.
The airline, operating now with two aircraft, now services the Kumasi and Tamale airports from its base in Accra. PassionAir is set to take delivery of its third aircraft in the coming weeks.
