On 20th February, Ghana made history with its first-ever all-female operated flight.

The feat was achieved when the domestic flight operator, Passion Air’s flight OP 178 which flew from Accra to Tamale was entirely operated by women from flight deck to the cabin.

Captain Eva Gichuru, pilot-in-command said, “This flight indicates that, whatever men can do, women can do and even better when given equal opportunities.”

Other members of the historic crew that aided trips of PassionAir’s Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 were; First officer Shelia Njonjo, Lead cabin crew Judith Amoasi and Cabin crew Judith Boachie.

PassionAir hopes this historic moment for them empowers and inspires women all over the world.
