Incorporated in July 2015 under the original name of DAC International Airlines Limited, our Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) was issued by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in September 2017.

PassionAir was birthed from charter operations, providing services to a client in the Oil and Gas industry, and commenced domestic operations in August 2018. In August 2018, PassionAir commenced domestic operations in Ghana. Our company was incorporated with the aim of:

PassionAir has a fleet of three (3) DeHavilland Dash 8-300 and two (2) Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. The seating capacity is 50 and 78 seats respectively. ample legroom, excellent air-conditioning, a well-lit cabin, and a large luggage compartment.

All of our aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which filter out airborne particles capturing 99.97% of particles in the airflow.

The Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 offers a maximum range of approximately 2,012 miles, under standard operating conditions, and a maximum cruising speed of approximately 393 mph.

Actual range and performance may vary depending on several factors, including payload, fuel load, altitude, temperature, and prevailing wind conditions. As with all aircraft, operational performance is influenced by the weight carried and the weather conditions encountered during flight.
