Viva Health Medical Outreach Keta - September 2025

From 18th to 20th September 2025, PassionAir proudly supported the Viva Health Medical Foundation’s medical outreach in Keta and Tegbi with a donation of Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 50,000.00). With this support, over 150 surgeries were successfully performed, including thyroid surgeries, fibroid removals, lipoma excisions, and hernia repairs.

In addition to the surgeries, the outreach also provided eye screenings, blood tests, health education, and counseling, ensuring a holistic approach to community healthcare.

Communities in Keta and its surrounding towns, including Togo, benefited greatly from this initiative. Together, we brought hope and love through free surgeries, compassionate care, and a shared commitment to building a healthier Ghana.

PassionAir Partners With Hope For Little Lives Foundation - December 2024

PassionAir proudly supported HOPE for Little Lives, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children in Ghana, during a week-long initiative in Yendi, Northern Region, from December 21st to 27th, 2024. Dubbed the “HOPE Train,” this impactful outreach provided free pediatric surgeries, medical screenings, health education, and STEM motivation to the community, culminating in a joyous Christmas celebration.

In its commitment to making a difference, PassionAir generously contributed some free and discounted air tickets for a team of volunteers, including surgeons, anesthetists, general medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical laboratory scientists, teachers, administrators, and drivers, to travel to Tamale and ensure healthcare services reached those in need. This vital contribution helped ensure that healthcare was delivered efficiently and promptly to the inhabitants of Yendi.

The health screenings offered families a valuable opportunity to assess their children’s health and receive professional advice. At the same time, skilled surgeons from Accra performed 43 free surgeries, bringing much-needed relief and hope to the children and their families. 742 children were screened for various medical conditions, and 1000 children underwent mass deworming.

In addition to healthcare, trained health professionals and volunteers conducted engaging sessions at six schools with 400 participants on personal grooming, adolescent reproductive health, and menstrual hygiene, and empowered young females to pursue careers in STEM fields. The initiative also motivated the youth to embrace reading and education as vital keys in their personal development.

PassionAir’s unwavering support of the “HOPE Train” has made a significant impact, helping to improve the health, well-being, and futures of children and families in the Yendi community.
